Saved Searches

A saved search is a query plus its filters, kept under a name you choose. Useful for the searches you run every week.

Save one

  1. Press ⌘ K and build the search you want, filters included.
  2. Click the bookmark button in the search bar. The Saved Searches panel opens.
  3. Click Save Current. This button only appears once the query is at least two characters.
  4. Type a name and press ↵, or click Save. esc cancels.

The name is yours; nothing is derived from the query. Whatever the filter row holds at the moment you save (space, dates, labels) is stored with it.

Run one

Open the bookmark panel and click a saved search. Its query and filters load back into the palette and the search runs immediately. From there you can edit the query in the box like any other search.

Each row shows the name and, underneath it, the raw query so you can tell two similar searches apart.

Delete one

Click the trash icon on the row. You get a confirmation prompt first. Deleting a saved search does not touch any pages.
